Hemashree Dunakhe

Hemashree Dunakhe joined the Cotleur & Hearing Team shortly after graduating from the University of South Florida, Tampa in May 2020. Hemashree graduated with a Master of Urban and Regional Planning in 2020 from University of South Florida, as well as a Bachelor of Architecture in 2016 from the University of Mumbai, India. Her primary focus was on Land use planning and Multimodal Transportation. She started working and training under Project Manager/Partner Daniel T. Sorrow, working on a variety of projects throughout the City of port St. Lucie and St. Lucie County. Thus far, she has been gaining experience in completing various entitlement applications, justification statements, and working alongside Landscape Architects and Designers to develop submittals validating to Land Development Regulations. Hemashree grew up in Mumbai, India. She enjoys exploring natural/recreational places and landscape photography. Her passion to learn about climate change and sustainable development guided her to pursue a master’s degree in Planning from the United States. Through the Planning school, she had the opportunity to be involved in community development projects, especially through her Internship Project, Food Accessibility through Community Gardens. Hemashree loves the field of Land Use Planning and feels grateful to be able to contribute herself to Florida Planning. She is eager to bring her passion and leadership to the ever-growing Cotleur & Hearing Team
