Leah Heinzelmann, PLA, ASLA

Leah Heinzelmann is a Partner at Cotleur & Hearing in Jupiter, Florida, where she leads projects primarily along the Treasure Coast. A Wisconsin native, Leah earned dual degrees in Landscape Architecture and Music Performance from the University of Wisconsin–Madison before traveling over 1,500 miles in 2016 to launch her career with Cotleur & Hearing. Since joining the firm, Leah has distinguished herself as a talented project manager and team leader. She specializes in large-scale master planning, site planning, and graphic design, bringing a collaborative approach and a sharp creative eye to every project. Her portfolio spans municipal and private park developments, amenity landscapes, wetland and upland habitat restorations, mixed-use communities, and city redevelopment initiatives.

In 2021, Leah became a licensed Landscape Architect, and in March 2025, she was named a Partner at Cotleur & Hearing — a significant milestone that reflects both her exceptional skill and her vital role in advancing the firm’s strategic vision. Her early promise was recognized by ASLA Florida, awarding her the 2017 Mike Oliver Educational Scholarship. In addition to her project work, Leah has been deeply involved in professional leadership, serving as Palm Beach/Treasure Coast Section Chair from 2018–2022, and holding the roles of President-Elect, President, and now Past President of the ASLA Florida Chapter.

Outside the office, Leah is equally driven. She is an avid strength training athlete, competing in powerlifting and CrossFit meets across the state of Florida.
