Project Spotlight: Tampa General Cancer Care Celebrates Grand Opening

Tampa General Mass General Brigham Cancer Care recently celebrated the grand opening of its new radiation oncology center at Legacy Place in Palm Beach Gardens. The 10,000-square-foot facility is the first location developed through a joint venture between Tampa General Hospital and Boston-based Mass General Brigham, in collaboration with Cancer Center of South Florida. The center brings advanced radiation oncology services and academic-based cancer care closer to patients throughout Palm Beach County and Florida’s East Coast.

Cotleur & Hearing was proud to be part of the project team, providing entitlement and site planning services, landscape architecture, and signage coordination. The project transformed an existing retail space at Legacy Place into a specialized medical facility, requiring thoughtful planning and coordination to accommodate the center’s unique operational needs while integrating the new use within the existing shopping center.

Nicole Plunkett, Zach Ciciera, and Melissa Espinosa represented Cotleur & Hearing at the Grand Opening, joined by Jessica Buckman of Tampa General Hospital to celebrate the completion of the new facility and this important milestone.

The completed facility combines specialized cancer care and advanced treatment technology in a convenient, accessible location for patients and their families. As Tampa General and Mass General Brigham continue to expand their presence along Florida’s East Coast, the opening represents an important step in bringing additional academic health care resources to the region.

Congratulations to Tampa General Hospital, Mass General Brigham, Cancer Center of South Florida, and the entire project team on the opening of this important new resource for our community.
