Cotleur & Hearing has proudly received unanimous approval from the Riviera Beach City Council to replace the existing St. George’s Church with the new Hearts of Palm Center. This 9,215 square-foot, two-story building will serve as a vital resource hub for the homeless and a community center promoting social connections and outreach in the City of Riviera Beach. The Hearts of Palm Center aims to expand the reach of the St. Mark’s Hearts of Palm ministry, providing a warm, inviting space for community support and resources.
This new facility will continue the legacy of St. George’s Center, which has operated a feeding and clothing program at the church since 1989. In partnership with local non-profits, the Hearts of Palm Center will offer job training, mental health counseling, and housing assistance, addressing homelessness comprehensively and empowering individuals to rebuild their lives.
The success of the Hearts of Palm Center is made possible by a talented project team, including Birse/Thomas Architects, Simmons and White for civil and traffic engineering, and Gunster as the attorney. The approval of this project marks a significant milestone in our efforts to uplift and support the Riviera Beach community. We look forward to breaking ground on this transformative project soon.
