On November 1st, the Westlake City Council approved the plat and site plan for Phase 1 of the Oaks of Westlake, a new single-family neighborhood with a total of 616 homes. Phase 1 includes 266 homes, with Phases 2 and 3 adding 350 more.
The Oaks offers a range of single-family home options on 50- and 65-foot-wide lots, with depths of 130 and 136 feet. The Oaks at Westlake features a limited number of back-to-back lots, designed to enhance affordability while maintaining landscaping buffers for privacy. By interspersing varying lot sizes, the community achieves a diverse and inviting character.
Cotleur & Hearing provided site planning design services, along with open space and street tree landscaping for Phase 1. Our approach balances functionality and aesthetics, ensuring a cohesive and livable neighborhood. Green spaces and tree-lined streets add charm and foster a sense of community.
We’re proud to partner with Minto PBLH, LLC on this exciting project and assist in securing necessary entitlements. The Oaks of Westlake exemplifies thoughtful design, blending affordability, diversity, and natural beauty to create a vibrant and welcoming addition to the growing Westlake area.
