Approval Update: Wellington Lifestyle Partners

The Village of Wellington has granted unanimous approval for the compatibility determination of groundbreaking new showgrounds within Pod F of the Wellington Country Place Planned Unit Development (PUD). This area, known for housing some of Wellington’s most prestigious equestrian communities such as Mallet Hill, Southfields, and Equestrian Club Estates, is set to host a 114.65-acre facility at the strategic northeast intersection of Gracida Street and Gene Mische Way. Directly south of the renowned Wellington International grounds, the new showgrounds promise to revolutionize the equestrian experience in the village. With plans for a state-of-the-art stadium featuring viewing areas, dining and retail spaces, as well as numerous arenas and stalls, the development aims to provide an unparalleled environment for horses, riders, spectators, and staff alike.

This initiative reflects over two decades of operational insight and is designed to cater to the needs of the equestrian elite, positioning Wellington as a global hub for equestrian enthusiasts. Spearheaded by Cotleur & Hearing with Wellington Lifestyle Partners, the project team includes industry leaders Populus, Simmons & White, Dunay, Miskel, Backman, and Sexton Engineering. The project stands as a testament to Wellington’s commitment to maintaining its status as a world-class destination for equestrian sports.
