Project Update: Law Offices at Donald Ross Village
Cotleur and Hearing is thrilled to be part of the exciting project set to redefine Donald Ross Road in Palm Beach Gardens. As the planning agent for the venture, we are delighted to announce the city council's recent approval of our plans for a two-story, 7,000-square-foot building that will house Domnick Cunningham & Yaffa, a distinguished personal-injury law firm presently located along PGA Boulevard. Working closely with the law firm, we are excited to bring their dream to fruition and establish a new, vibrant home for them along Donald Ross Road. The strategic location of the building, just east of the main entrance to Donald Ross Village on the sprawling 45-acre mixed-use property, promises to make it a prominent landmark in the area. One of the key design decisions we made was to build upward instead of outward. By adopting this approach, we successfully preserved a significant number of parking spaces, ensuring convenience for visitors and employees alike. The new building boasts an array of attractive features, including a rooftop terrace with a captivating trellis adorned with lush vines, adding a touch of natural beauty to the urban environment.
Our team took meticulous care to address practical aspects while maintaining aesthetics. To shield passersby from the view of mechanical equipment on the roof, we artfully incorporated greenery into the design, enhancing the overall appeal of the building. Additionally, the first floor's balcony, accessible from the smaller second floor, offers an enjoyable amenity for the law firm's employees.
We take pride in the inclusion of a "greenscreen" on the north side of the building, featuring vines that will elegantly climb bronze-screened panels, creating a stunning visual spectacle for all. Furthermore, we have exciting plans for a captivating tiled mural in the building's vestibule, as a unique public art project, adding an element of community engagement and culture to the space.
For us at Cotleur and Hearing, this project is not just about constructing a building; it's about creating a space that becomes an integral part of the community. The opportunity to be a part of Donald Ross Village, nestled between the Alton development and the Herbert Wertheim UF Scripps Institute for Biomedical Innovation & Technology in Jupiter, fills us with immense pride and joy. As we forge ahead, we are grateful for the council's approval and the chance to work hand-in-hand with Domnick Cunningham & Yaffa, crafting a remarkable space that aligns with their vision and aspirations.
We look forward to contributing to the vibrant transformation of Donald Ross Road and leaving a lasting impression on the city's landscape.
