Cotleur & Hearing, Inc. was retained by the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute and Catalfumo Construction and Development to shepherd the redesign of their Palm Beach Gardens PGA National facilities through the city’s planning and entitlement review process. The Bascom Palmer Eye Institute had purchased property on PGA Boulevard in the mid-90s, however, they had not proceeded with construction of the permanent facilities until now. Bascom Palmer provides Ophthalmological research services to the University of Miami, and this state-of-the-art facility will further add to Bascom Palmer’s extensive state-wide facilities. Their new facility is located on the south side of PGA Boulevard at the entrance to Florida’s Turnpike. The facility includes approximately 68,000 sq. ft. of medical uses including a state-of-the-art, out-patient surgical facility and other complimentary medical office uses. Bascom Palmer Institute relies on philanthropical support to continue to provide their sight-saving research.
