Project Approval: Tequesta Country Club

Cotleur & Hearing is pleased to announce the approval of the new Tequesta Country Club clubhouse and ancillary facilities by the Village Council on February 12, 2026. This milestone represents a significant reinvestment in one of the Village’s most enduring and recognizable landmarks.

Established in 1957, same year the Village of Tequesta was incorporated, when the population was just 300 residents, Tequesta Country Club has been woven into the community’s identity from the very beginning. Today, the golf course encompasses approximately eight percent of the entire Village, underscoring its lasting importance to Tequesta’s character and open‑space fabric.

The approved redevelopment honors this legacy through a thoughtfully designed 24,232‑square‑foot, coastal‑inspired clubhouse, along with a complementary cart barn, enhanced landscaping, and improved circulation throughout the site. Whether you are a member of the Club or simply driving along Country Club Drive, the new clubhouse will stand as an important and memorable landmark for the entire community.

We are proud to have led the land planning and landscape architecture for a project that celebrates history while positioning this iconic institution for its next chapter.
