Proposed Living Seawall at Riverside Drive Residence
Cotleur & Hearing has recently obtained approval for a residential variance to construct a new seawall in the Town of Jupiter and develop a marine stewardship plan. In a proactive effort towards sustainable coastal development and habitat restoration, Cotleur & Hearing has collaborated with the Reef Ball Foundation to implement cutting-edge technology for the proposed living seawall at the Riverside Drive residence. This collaboration aims to not only ensure the stability of the seawall but also to enhance the current living ecosystem.
One of the key aspects of this project is the utilization of Reef Ball or Ecorap technology, historically uncommon with residential projects. These specially designed concrete structures serve a dual purpose: mitigating wave energy to safeguard the shoreline and creating thriving marine habitats contributing to ecosystem resilience.
