Summer Stevens

Summer Stevens joined Cotleur & Hearing as a Land Use Planner in 2024. She graduated from the University of Florida with a master’s degree in Sustainable Design, focusing on social, ecological, and environmental issues related to resilient and regenerative planning and urbanism. Summer earned her bachelor’s degree in Urban Design from Florida Atlantic University’s Department of Urban and Regional Planning in 2018.
Summer’s passion for planning and design grew through her time spent living and traveling abroad. Experiencing cities with unique architectural styles, sustainable practices, and vibrant public spaces inspired her to explore how design can enhance quality of life. From cities that prioritize walkability and public transport to serene green spaces integrated into urban landscapes, each destination highlighted the importance of thoughtful planning.
In 2022, Summer presented her master’s research project, “Walking Towards a Sustainable Future for Urban Design,” at the Architectural Research Centers Consortium in Miami, hosted by FIU. Now at Cotleur & Hearing, she is involved in a diverse range of projects across Palm Beach County, where she continues to apply her passion for sustainable planning and design.
A native Floridian, Summer is local to the Palm Beach and Jupiter area.
