Robert Bias, PLA
With more than 15 years of experience in landscape architecture, Rob Bias brings proven expertise in the planning and design of large-scale residential, commercial, hospitality, and public projects throughout Florida. His technical background includes site plan development, inventory and analysis, hardscape and landscape design, and grading and drainage coordination. Rob is also experienced in project budgeting, contract preparation, and leading multidisciplinary teams composed of both internal staff and external sub-consultants.
Rob’s career in Central Florida began in 2011 at Verlander Landscape Architecture, where he contributed to a wide range of project types, including theme parks, resorts, turnpike corridors, and municipal park systems. In 2020, he joined Waldrop Engineering, shifting his focus to master-planned communities, multifamily developments, and roadway landscape design. During this time, he worked closely with civil engineering teams, reinforcing his collaborative approach and commitment to integrated, solutions-driven design.
Following Waldrop Engineering’s merger with Atwell/RVi in 2022, Rob’s strong project performance and leadership capabilities earned him the role of Director of Landscape Architecture for the firm’s Orlando office. Today, he serves as Regional Director for Cotleur & Hearing’s Orlando location, where he provides local market expertise, strategic leadership, and continued dedication to high-quality landscape architecture across Central Florida.
