Sarah Dark

Sarah Dark joined Cotleur & Hearing in 2012, early in her design career. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Florida, graduating summa cum laude, and a certificate in Graphic Design, combining technical expertise with a keen eye for visual storytelling.
As the Visual Design Manager, Sarah collaborates with the design team to develop architectural elevations, site plan renderings, circulation plans, community branding, signage design, and marketing materials that enhance Cotleur & Hearing’s projects. As Cotleur & Hearing’s first remote employee in 2014, she helped pave the way for the firm’s now-growing remote workforce. Her expertise includes community branding, signage, circulation plans, and analysis exhibits, with a focus on creating visually compelling and functional designs for land planning and development projects. She also manages a team of remote designers, ensuring high-quality visual communication across all company projects.
Beyond her work at Cotleur & Hearing, Sarah remains active in her community. She served on the City of Atlantic Beach’s Environmental Stewardship Committee (ESC) from 2017 to 2021, chairing the Tree Subcommittee, and continues to lend her landscape architecture and graphic design expertise to the ESC. She also volunteers with her daughter’s Girl Scout troop and school.
