George Missimer, AICP

George Missimer is a Partner at Cotleur & Hearing, where he leads land planning and landscape architecture projects across Indian River, Okeechobee, St. Lucie, Martin, and Palm Beach Counties. His promotion to Partner in March 2025 marks a significant step in the firm’s strategic growth and recognizes his proven leadership, expertise, and commitment to the communities we serve. A Martin County native, George has deep roots in Florida’s coastal communities. After earning his bachelor’s degree in Environment and Society with a minor in Biology from Florida State University in 2017, he returned home and joined Cotleur & Hearing. Quickly advancing to Project Manager, George demonstrated a natural ability to lead design teams and guide complex development projects through the public hearing and approval process. George’s work reflects a passion for thoughtful, lasting community development—helping shape the future of the region he proudly calls home.
