Cotleur & Hearing is pleased to unveil the final renderings of the Dunes at Juno Beach townhome community. Nestled in the heart of Juno Beach, the Dunes at Juno Beach townhome community received unanimous approval from Town Council on Wednesday April 23rd, approving the selected color scheme to represent the community’s long-term vision. The modern Key West Cracker style architecture uses a crisp, neutral palette with Pure White stucco, fascia, trim, Quicksilver lap siding, and Tricorn Black accents for front doors, garage doors, and railings. The building features a gray standing seam metal roof and a dark Eagle Bel Air concrete tile roof, offering subtle contrast and layered materiality.
This design draws closely from the early to mid-20th-century Modern style recognized by the Town — with simple horizontal forms, restrained ornamentation, and soft coastal tones. It avoids the stark minimalism and sharp contrasts that would otherwise categorize it as Modern Contemporary. Architectural elements such as lap and board-and-batten siding, exposed foam brackets, deep roof overhangs, and symmetrical window arrangements provide a complementary mix of modern and Key West cracker styles to ensure this design remains consistent with the Town’s long-term architectural vision.
